Le Ski!

bonjour everyone,
sorry i haven't posted anything in a while but i've been on a skiing holiday and i'm kinda tired and i've had tonnnes of art crap to do.. excuses, excuses. anyway, we went to a place called les orres in the french alps and i had a really good time, the weather was perfect most of the time and the snow was utterly delicious (not literally) and i didn't break any bones, score! I went with my family and two other family friends families if that even makes sense and we all had red hoodies with our nicknames on the back. I've been skiing for i think 7 years now so my technique is really starting to take shape but i still don't do any massive 20 metre high jumps. I have a 'few' (by that i mean quite alot) pictures to show ya guys so enjoy and i hope you had a good valentines day x :

The whole crew! from top left: Jammin(ben/brother), Paddy(eoghan), The rev(tommy), Snow coach(Tony), Pingu(me), Twinkletoes(Aisling), Donkey(dad), Papa smirf(Paul), Ginge(James), Moo(Matt), Spongebob(Paul), Treefrog(Katie), Snow virgin(Orla), Dash(Joe), Jugs(mum), Fanny(Andrea), Grape(April/sister)

there are reasons for the nicknames, for example, Paul is called papa smirf because last year skiing he decided to not wear any suncream at all for the whole week when it was boiling and very sunny outside, his face was burnt so badly it went blue (hence the smirf) and peeled off. we all laughed it off.. no harm done. And katie is called treefrog because when doing jumps she often accidently gets halfway up tall trees.

Katie looks nice here ;)

I liked this photo

i atempted to do action shots of katie and eoghan doing jumps. i got the timing perfect on both attempts but it was really misty that day so it's really blurry and you can't really see it properly.

and again

Tom and joe looking as enthusiastic as ever!

View from the highest point of the resort! though james kinda got in the way

A particularly 'fun' 2 man chairlift. very bouncy.

sister and me having a snappy momment whilest on the chairlift. (skill needed to not drop the camera)

The view from my bedroom window ;)

The sister again dislaying the resort and her tongue.

Nice little picture

A pretty little french florist in one of the mountain towns we passed. :)

Lave lave lave.. i was kinda bored and the window was my canvas!
